Our team

The project's initiator is Patrick Kersalé. He is surrounded by other professionals working in related fields on a daily basis. If you too feel you have the soul of an intuitor, come and join us, even for a one-off experience. With us, everyone remains the owner of his or her contributions, and can use them as they see fit outside our organisation.

Patrick Kersalé

Patrick Kersalé is an ethno-archaeologist and musician. Since 1991, he has worked in some forty countries in Europe, Africa, America and Asia, photographing, recording and filming traditional musicians and studying their music. He is the author of hundreds of publications devoted to traditional music.

From 2009 to 2022, he will be studying Angkorian musical instruments through iconography, epigraphy and archaeological artefacts, as well as through synchronicity. At the same time, he is reconstructing the lost instruments that existed between the 7th and 16th centuries: harps, zithers, cymbals, drums, trumpets and conches.

Since the beginning of 2023, he has put his expertise at the service of Egyptian archaeomusicology and joined a research team on the history of music therapy.

As part of "Intuitive Archeology", he is trying to bring together a team of intuitors to conduct more in-depth research into pure archaeology and archaeomusicology.
